Carine Jean, M.D. spent 3 years of residency training in general psychiatry at CVH ,a Yale University affiliated program,and completed her residency training at Yale University. She pursued an advanced fellowship training in Addiction psychiatry at Yale University school of Medicine where she conducted some studies on suboxone,She holds a faculty position as clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at Yale University school of Medicine.Dr Jean is board certified in general psychiatry ,addiction psychiatry and addiction medicine.Dr Jean is a member of the American Academy of Addiction psychiatry.
She is licensed to practice medicine in the States of Connecticut and Florida.
Dr Jean is fluent in French, Creole, Spanish and English.
Dr Jean has been the medical director of the APT foundation, a large methadone program in New Haven, affiliated with Yale University.She is currently an attending psychiatrist at Yale Behavioral Health Services in Hamden. Dr Jean is working in the Waterbury Hospital crisis intervention and inpatient divisions.Dr Jean is currently employed by the Department of Mental Heath and Addiction Services ,as a principal psychiatrist, for 13 years on a co-occurring treatment unit and is working with patients suffering from chronic mental illness and addictive disorders.
Dr Jean is certified to prescribe suboxone and is accepting new patients.

Tasneem Khan, M.D.
Dr. Khan is a board certified psychiatrist with 17 years of experience. He is very compassionate and listens carefully to his patients. He completed his Psychiatry residency training at New York Medical College. He started his psychiatric career as a Medical Director of an outpatient clinic and partial hospital substance abuse program. He created a program which , within few years became the area's leading outpatient program. Dr. Khan was the leading prescriber in this area.
Dr. Khan then worked as the Medical Director of inpatient unit at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury. He presently works as a Principal Psychiatrist for DMHAS. He is also working as the Medical Director of a dual diagnosis inpatient rehab program.
Dr. Khan has extensive experience in treating ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis and substance abuse disorders. Dr. Khan is also certified to prescribe SUBOXONE. He is trained in bio-psycho-social model. He believes in recovery and is available to take new patients. He will help you to achieve balance in your life.
